KaijuMonsteR Gallery, founded in 2016 by Martijn de Zwart, is one of the leading high-end art toy and sculpture galleries in Europe with a focus on Japanese produced Sofubi works.

The gallery’s program includes important established artists such as Marmit, Target Earth, Dreamrocket, SkullHeadButt, Siccaluna, Amapro, Blobpus and Karzworks as well as such emerging notable talents as Algangu, KKfactory, Roughneck:7, Awesome Toy and SX-Toy.

KaijuMonsteR gallery continues to develop long-term relationships with artists, manufacturers, private collectors and corporations around the world, placing high end art toys in on display at many international events such as New York Comic Con, ToyConUK London, Dutch Comic Con Utrecht, Amsterdam Comic Con and Art Toy Culture Seoul.

Ippei Gyobu: Peoples

Compound Gallery has a crazy new Canvas print by Ippei Gyobu available right now. This particular piece is called Peoples. I am not sure if this is from an existing anime, but if it's not, it should be made into an anime right now! Every single character in this piece forces me to wanting to know there individual story's.

Ippei Gyobu
Ippei Gyobu was born in Osaka Japan in 1974. He graduated from the kobe Art institute and started his career as a character designer at a computer gaming company. His first major project was designing characters for the entire cat of the game " Cool Cool Toon" and worked on other various projects for 4 years. In 2001 he started his own independent studio and since then has worked with various clients such a Nike, Adidas, Sony. Japan Rail, Coca-Cola, Playstation, Sega, Konami, His creations were interpreted into video games, animation apparel Design and 3-D figures.
